Reading Cafe Sci is a monthly event that the local branch of the British Science Association (BSA) host in Reading town centre. The speaker gets 30 – 40 mins for their talk (either freehand with a mic or with a few slides on a projector), then 15 min refreshment break followed by 30 mins Q&A with the audience. About 60 people turn up to each event and only 10 % of them are scientists in the audience so its general public who have a thirst for learning new things and inquisitive mind all subjects welcome.
